THE KIT
10KW DIESEL TO ELECTRICAL BOAT CONVERSION KIT
This kit is our larger drive unit offering replacement for a medium sized yacht diesel inboards. A key advantage of these kits is their ability to be integrated into the yachts existing equipment. The drive unit has been designed to match the power and gear ratio of most inboard engines, this allows existing propeller, shaft and stern gear to be re-used. This is a key and unique factor of our drive units as the existing equipment is often perfectly re-usable, and reduces the overall cost of the conversion.

In addition to the drive kit you will also require:

This is probably the bare minimum that is required to have a fully running installation. There is more equipment available to upgrade installations for high spec build and performance craft. But it’s important to remember the simplicity that the drive kits can operate with.
There’s a few reasons we don’t offer these items in our kit; firstly, there are many different boats that have many different types and spec of equipment. As a company we are all about integrating into existing systems and equipment, it would be very difficult to put together an entire kit that suited everyone, what some might use others might not and where one spec. is adequate for one yacht it might not be for another and so on.
With this in mind we put together our electric drive kit and offer this as a ready to run box of parts. We are also offering all the other parts we think an electric converter might also need be it a new build craft or a vessel under refit.
